Jefferson Wells is now seeking two Development Professionals for Siemens Energy in Finspång. Here, you will work on development projects and technical standards and specialist areas. About the job as a Development Professional:

As a Development Professional at Siemens Energy, you will be part of the Development & Standards - Process Engineering department, a team of 15 dedicated colleagues. You will work on development projects and drive issues related to technical standards, methods, and guidelines. The role is suitable for both recent graduates and those with specialist expertise in areas such as lubrication systems, gears, acoustics, fuel systems, or fire & gas.

You will contribute to technical decisions, support projects with expertise, and work closely with several functions such as R&D, purchasing, maintenance, and suppliers. Here, you will have a broad and developing role where you can influence the future technical solutions.

Common tasks include:

  • Contributing to the development and implementation of the technical roadmap.
  • Developing and maintaining technical methods, guidelines, and standards.
  • Providing technical support in development and order projects.
  • Participating in technical reviews and quality assurance of solutions.
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external parties.
  • Working on continuous improvements of working methods and processes.

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for someone who wants to develop within mechanical systems and thrives in an analytical and technical role. You are structured, curious, and have a knack for collaboration. The role is suitable for both junior and more experienced engineers who want to contribute their expertise in a technically advanced environment.

We would like you to have:

  • A university degree in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or equivalent.
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
  • The ability to analyze and assess technical solutions.
  • Good collaboration skills, as well as a driven, responsible, and flexible attitude.
